3rd Nursing Conference / 5th Training Course For Clinic Personnel

 

The conference was held successfully on 30th September to 1st October 2011 with the objective of upgrading the quality of healthcare services of the member’s clinics and medical centres to the general population. This programme has trained about 250 staff to date. The basic CPR and CARE  programmes with hands-on participation are very well received.

This year, there are 26 staff nurses and 26 clinic personnels having separate session concurrently. Held at the scenic Regency Golf & Country Resort, Jitra, Kedah, the 1 ½ days intensive programme was exhaustive but it was an enjoyable weekend retreat for the private hospital and clinic staff. Their enthusiasm and energy surprised the Organiser ! The most popular participant was awarded to the most senior staff from a private clinic. She has been in the industry for more than 25 years. And yet she is willing to learn new things from the conference.

This year, poolside buffet dinner was held in conjunction with a talk on “Psoriasis” organised by our sponsor, LEO Pharma.

Hopefully, this programme can achieve its objectives with the continuous support of all private doctors from Kedah and Perlis.
